Ylöjärvi center competition, 1st prize
The proposal "Sidokset" won 1st place in the open architectural competition for the city center of Ylöjärvi.

- With the rapidly developing transportation connections, the city center area was expected to have more urban-style housing, commercial and office spaces, as well as services, while considering the area's landscape and architectural heritage values. The competition included three different areas: the surrounding area of the administrative blocks, the railway area, and the Leijapuisto area located north of the current library. The competition proposal created by Sami Vikström Architecture Ltd led to a follow-up commission for the preparation of the detailed master plan for the Leijapuisto area.
