The design introduces a new spatial structure created by the new buildings, which is a combination of courtyards, squares, and park spaces of varying sizes but with clear boundaries and frames. The courtyards play a significant role as socially unifying elements, and various functions and atmospheres have been programmed into them: some are for lounging, some for parking, and others, in their densest form, serve as entrance courtyards. The competition proposal was made by Sami Vikström Architecture Ltd.
