Suvanto Housing area in Jyväskylä
This competition proposal, developed in collaboration between ARK-house and Sami Vikström Architecture Ltd in 2022, was awarded a purchase. Aino Landscaping Oy produced the landscape architecture. The core ideas of the plan include a rich series of courtyard spaces and a diverse building typology that combines apartment houses and row houses.

- The semi-open spatial structure, formed by buildings placed at an angle to each other, creates long and diverse views from each apartment, even within the area itself. The outdoor spaces are interconnected, forming a large, seamless, and freely accessible whole. At the same time, they also create cozy courtyards and small neighborhoods for living together, yet with enough privacy.
