Nurmo central area
The goal of the commission was to create a plan for development and additional construction in the town center of the municipality, which was incorporated into the city of Seinäjoki. The aim was to increase the area's attractiveness and strengthen its local identity.

- The plan enhances the area's social sustainability: on one hand, by creating a more diverse and multicultural block structure in terms of functions, and on the other, by improving public outdoor spaces, their safety, and the connections between them. An essential part of the task was also updating the outdoor spaces and spatial solutions of the existing school center. The plan was developed by Sami Vikström Architecture Ltd.
