Myllykoski Church renovation and expansion
The proposal "Kielo" was awarded a purchase in the open architectural competition held for the center of Myllykoski, Kouvola. The goal was to renovate and expand the existing historically valuable church in a way that revitalizes the neighborhood center and makes the activities of the congregation a more visible part of everyday life.

- The church hall forms a low, intimate scale structure with long glass walls, reacting to the human scale and serving as a showcase that communicates the church's activities along Myllykoskentie. The building was designed entirely with a wooden structure. The proposal was designed by Sami Vikström Architecture Ltd.
