- The protected façade was restored with a row of panoramic windows on the top floor, resembling the original design, offering unobstructed views of the city and the sea. A distinctive feature of the property is the variation in floor heights: the 6th floor is five meters high, and the ceiling in the top floor is even higher. The original colors of the protected façade were restored under the guidance of the Helsinki City Museum. All windows were replaced, and the inner courtyard façades were opened up with numerous new windows and balconies. New elevators and staircases were built for the property; the entrance to the A-staircase and the lobby on the 2nd floor were restored, and the B-staircase was renovated. The design also took into account the comfort of the shared spaces. The building’s gym and sauna are located on the bright courtyard level. The basement floor houses storage rooms, a laundry room, a drying room, and a wine cellar.
