- The plan was required to include hybrid construction, meaning a mix of functions at both the block and building levels. An important aspect to consider was the area’s history and the integration of industrial architecture as a visible part of the place's historical layers. The residential blocks are connected through shared courtyards established by agreements between the housing companies. The character of the courtyards varies in terms of both functions and materials, ranging from urban paving to a more park-like greenery. The plan was made by Sami Vikström Architecture Ltd in collaboration with Karin Krokfors Architects Ltd.
