- The program consists of rental apartments, offering long views over the canal and towards the forest. The ground floor includes townhouse-like apartments to enrich the housing types. The exterior balconies play an important role in the overall design. The most distinctive feature of the northern facade is the checkerboard arrangement of projecting balconies and entrance canopies. To create a mid-scale, four balconies have been visually grouped into one cohesive unit. Each of these "color spots" is treated with accent colors from the same color family, giving each element a unique identity. The rest of the facade, serving as the background for the "color spots," is plastered in white and composed with a calm, regular window layout.
